today, we learned about the commercial song again. and also we tried to compose our own jingle for the business task later on. it was hard, but i tried my best and i'll give more effort for this task. and make sure that my jingle will be good to be heared.

today, we reviewed our task and also homework. but, nobody in our class did the finale hw. after this, we will going to our instrument's class and asking our instrument teacher our difficulties for the performance later on. (song: close to you)

today i was sick. so i stayed at home and wondering which song i would like to practice at that time. then, i decided to practice my group task song later on, which is close to you. it was hard for the violin part. but i tried my best.

today we learned about music commercial intro. we learned that part in order to make our business task easier later on for this 4th term. after that we learned about finale again, for the second time. i should learn further for this program.

today is the term 3 exam day for notation & theory of jazz. it was really hard. harder than any other quiz or music exam i've ever been doing. i think i should practice and learn harder on the theory part.

today is the singing assessment day. i did quite good for this performance. but to be honest, I WAS SO NERVOUS. i don't know why, but i always nervous for every performance that i took. but, i'm glad that i could memorize those words. i think, i should do better on the next performance and also i must try to throwing my nervous feeling away from now on. (but still, i don't know how.) but at least i tried my best.

today, we were studying about minor chord, 9th & 11th chords. starting from g,d,e,and a. also, mr. Herry told us what are the groups for the group assessment later on. i got the second group and will be conducted by mr. Herry and we'll sing "close to you".

today is our solo performance for the 12 bar blues composition that we created by our own. we, all the group of violin class, played the song all together and then each person giving us their own improvisation using their own composition. i was the last violin player. i played my composition and it was too messy to be heard. maybe it because this is my first day to practice my own composition + i was so nervous! it was horrible performance. i hope i can change that habit later on.

today is our assessment day for solo performance of "all of me" song with our own instrument. i was so nervous because i'm the first person of violin group who had the solo-performance. but then, it became more fun because we played the song in one group. i think i played quite good enough in this solo performance. i'll keep practicing and try to get by best improvement.

today we were doing our 12 bars blues review and the result too, after Riza and Amadea got their good composition played by Mr. Herry. after that, some of our students get the "love"-letter from Mr. Herry regarding their blog. and finally, we were doing our final practice (in front of the class) "all of me" song for next Tuesday solo performance before the long week-end come. that was so fun! i will try hard for our solo performance later on. :) keep fighting, guys!

today, we reviewed "all of me" song. each student performed in front of the class regarding for Mr. Herry to be able to see each student improvement. and also he gave us some evaluation that can make us, especially, makes me knew my weakness so i can trying to practice my weakness to become my strength later on in music. Thanks for Mr. Herry for that! thank youuuuuu, sir :)

today i was absent because i wasn't feeling really well. after school hour, i called floransie and asked her about what's up in the music class that i missed that day. and she said that i should re-write my 12 bars blues composition to the draft sheet that Mr. Herry gave them that day. so, i decided to editing my old composition because there are some mistakes that i should change. i am satisfied with my 12 bars blues composition and i know, after that, i should go to Mr. Herry to get the draft sheet.

today, we had our 12 bars blues composition review and we listened to each student's composition of this class. after that, we also had our "all of me" review and listened to our friends who played "all of me" with their own instruments. it was so much fun to heard them. so many things that i could get from today lesson. i hope i can be better and more better every each day that i have in my life! :)

today, we were doing our blues song composition and also we heard and enjoyed our friends performance of sway song, floransie and ledyan. after all of that, me and riza, together with our instrument's teacher: Mr. Sadrakh played all of me (jazz song) with our own violin. but to be honest, it was so messy. only Mr. Sadrakh could play the right notes of that song. haha.

today is our singing assessment day. it was kind of messy, but i think i was singing quietly good. i tried to control my pitch also tried to blend and stay calm with the song (even i was really nervous back then). but, i'll try my best later on and giving my best improvement to it!

"FUSION JAZZ". yup, this is the theme of my group presentation for this term. my group: angela, daud, derrian, gabby, and me using powerpoint slides and forming some informations about fusion jazz or also as known as jazz rock. because of this presentation i could get so many information about jazz, deeper than before. i did some researching and browsing some information also the examples of fusion jazz on google and especially youtube. i tried to listen those examples of each fusion jazz song and step by step i could understand what kind of music fusion jazz is. and of course, because of that, i have no regret of doing this presentation.

today, there were no music class for my class because of the theater's showcase "Rama&Sita". So, after i get home, i spent a half hour to practicing with my violin before i get some sleep to prepare for school tomorrow. i was playing "bhram's lullaby" song because i do really like this song since i was a kid. it was kind of fun and peaceful played that song before i fell asleep..

today,we learned again about jazz and the types of jazz. also, we learned about "sway" song (michael buble version). it's one of the examples of Latin jazz song. i really like this song because it sounds pretty and kind of romantic for me. Mr. Herry told us to learned this song and practicing the "sway" song for our assessment day: Tuesday, february 2, 2010. i will practicing this song every night, also control my singing abilities (the pitch and others). i'll try my best for it! keep fighting!!!

today, i was absent because i wasn't feeling well. still, at home i spend some of my times to practicing with my own instrument, violin. i played some songs that Mr. Sadrakh teach me, and also some songs that i learned by myself. i really like music, i do really like playing musical instruments, and that's why i always bring my violin home and start to practicing with it. because of that, i really hope i will get many improvements for this term and for this second semester.

today is our first day of music class of the 2nd semester. for first session, Mr. Herry told us about our rubrics for this term, term 3: JAZZ. and he gave us notes included: knowledge & understanding, application, reflection and evaluation, also our personal engagement. i really can't wait to do things for this term. one word: FIGHT! :)
